PRITPAL
Owner/Optometrist
Before taking over the Practice, Pritpal gained a wealth of experience in the independent sector for over 10 years as a locum optometrist. Patients describe Pritpal as extremely thorough, knowledgeable and very friendly in his approach. He takes the time to get to know your medical background, addresses any optical concerns you may have and explains the outcome of your eye examination in detail.

Outside of work Pritpal loves to spend time with his family, enjoys exploring National Trust and English Heritage sites and travelling. He also has a keen passion for fitness and football.
BEVERLEY
Optometrist
Before passing over the reigns to Pritpal, Mrs Breakwell owned the practice for over two decades, leaving her position as head of the Optometry Department at City Hospital, Birmingham. Having previously worked in the Optometry Departments at Warwick, Coventry and George Eliot Hospitals, Mrs Breakwell has extensive experience in specialist eyecare. Mrs Breakwell has a longstanding loyal patient database due to her excellent patient care, professional approach and knowledge.

In her spare time Mrs Breakwell loves to spend time outdoors with her dogs and has a keen interest in cricket and rugby.
TOM
Dispensing Optician
Tom has been with the practice since early 2000 and is an integral part of the team. He brings a wealth of experience on lens type, frames and style and provides bespoke advice on both high and complex prescriptions. Patients regularly return to the practice to specifically seek his technical advice and guidance.

Patients will quickly learn about Tom's passion for all sports, especially horse riding. Having previously trained as a jockey, he still helps to train horses today.
HELEN
Dispensing Optician
Helen joined the team 2 years ago and takes the time to discuss patients' lifestyle and visual needs to ensure they are dispensed the right frame and lens to suit their prescription. Helen is also a longstanding tutor for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians, has recently been appointed a trustee, and brings this knowledge base to her role.

Outside of work Helen can be found spending time with her family and cats, and loves to follow the rugby.
DEBORAH
Optical Receptionist
Deborah has been with the practice for over ten years and is well known to many of our existing patients. She is warm and welcoming and ensures the practice delivers the best possible administrative service to patients.

Outside of work Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and sailing.
GERALDINE
Optical Receptionist
After previously working as a legal secretary and in childcare, Geraldine decided to change her career path and has worked at the practice as an Optical Receptionist for five years, and has an excellent rapport with patients.
Outside of work Geraldine enjoys running, socialising with friends and family and researching her family tree.
MICHELLE
Optical Receptionist
Michelle has worked as a receptionist for many years mainly within the optical sector. She prides herself at being approachable, friendly and endeavours to meet patients needs.
Outside of work Michelle likes to spend time in her garden and vintage/antique shops and also spends a lot of time with her family and animals.
